This was a dummy cake I created for a project while I was in culinary school. It is covered in white rolled fondant and features gum paste poinsettias, roses, ivy leaves, holly leaves and berries, tassels, and roping at the bases of the layers. Hand-painted silver edible dust swirls on the second layer, royal icing '
 earls', and once had three-dimensional royal icing snowflakes sticking out of the bottom layer. Accented with silver edible shimmer dust, dry and wet. |
